`currentTimeMillis` returns the number of milliseconds since the epoch (1970-01-01T00:00:00Z).

## Syntax

currentTimeMillis()
```

## Parameters

This method takes no arguments.

## Returns

The number of milliseconds since the epoch (1970-01-01T00:00:00Z).

## Examples

```groovy order=:log
println currentClock().currentTimeMillis()
```
