Launch and navigate the IDE

Launching the web GUI is as easy as pasting the provided link into your browser and logging in.

You'll land in the Code Studio and be prompted to connect.

Choose the Query Server on which to run this worker, the Heap Size (in GB) needed to provision the pending work, the Engine (Core+ or Legacy), and your preferred scripting language (Groovy or Python).

If you've used our system before, your tabs from the previous session will persist. If this is your first time on the system, you'll be greeted with a blank slate.

To open a dashboard or manage applications, select the New+ tab.

  1. Code Studio

    If you are a developer and want to explore data, use the Code Studio.

  2. Controls

    The Controls menu provides access to several filtering tools as well the Markdown Widget.

  3. Panels

    From the Panels menu, you can open applications (known as Persistent Queries in Deephaven) to populate your dashboard.

  4. Sharing

    Through the Sharing dialog you can invite others to view or collaborate on your dashboard.

  5. Settings

    Use Settings to configure formatting, keyboard shortcuts, and to access support.
